That thread wot with all the food
I've been cooking and baking a lot lately, since mom's sick and sister is in alaska.
Figured I should share with you some recipes. Feel free to share your own too I guess.
measurement conversions (or google/duck the conversion and it'll tell you exactly what you need).
I'll post more food stuff tomorrow.

- Sweet-savory caramel sauce:
Ok, pedos and pedon'ts, this shit is good on p much anything. Rice. Fish. Burgers. Chicken breast, Ham and cheese omelette. It's sweet, savory, and a little spicy, and it's easy to make. Here's how it's done.
Take this shit:
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
5 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
4 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp corn starch
powdered ginger, mustard, and cayenne pepper to taste
Do this with it:
Put a sauce pan on the stove at a medium-high heat, and pour the soy sauce, vinegar, and lime juice in. Mix all the other stuff in a bowl, to get rid of lumps 'n' such. When the liquidy bit starts steaming, just dump the dry stuff into it and stir it in with a wooden spoon. When it's well mixed, put on the lid and leave it alone until it starts foaming up a lot. Remove it from the heat and stir to calm it down, then turn the stove down some and put the pan back on for like 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
This is good over top of baked fish, drizzled lightly over ommelettes, baked onto chicken, or brushed onto burgers while grilling, and probably with other things.
To store it, just pour any extra into a tupperware dish thing and stick it in the fridge. When you want to use it again, throw it in the microwave until it's runny enough to use.
I'll post more food stuff tomorrow.

Burgers to go with the caramel sauce, and based around that recipe. Also a really refreshing avocado-balsamic topping.
- Caramel burgers:
These patties will make you cum in your pants.
You'll need:
1 lb ground beef, 92-93% lean
2 tbsp soy sauce
1-1/2 tsp rice vinegar
2 tsp lime juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
ground ginger, mustard, and cayenne pepper to taste
Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, and juice in a small bowl, then disolve the sugar in it. Add the spices and mix well. In a larger bowl, knead the ground beef aroundso it's nice and mushed up. Pour the flavor mix stuff from the bowl into the beef and knead it well to mix it.
Form the beef into 2-4 patties, keeping in mind that they'll shrink on the grill. place the patties on a hot grill for like 4 minutes, so the one side gets nice and grilled, then flip them to grill the other side for 4 minutes. Flip again, and brush on a generous ammount of the caramel sauce. Close the lid and leave them for 4 minutes, then flip and add more caramel sauce. Close the lid again, for 4 more minutes. Flip them and let the caramel bake on for 2 minutes, then they're ready to serve.
- Avocado-balsamic topping:
This pairs nicely with the caramel burger patties.
Gather up:
1 ripe avocado
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp extra-virgin (o bby) olive oil
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
Cut the avocado into quarters, keeping in mind that it has a rather large pit. Remove the delicious green slime from the skin, and mash it up with a fork or spoon in a bowl. Add the other stuff and mix well. Spread on things or use it as a dip, idfc.

Oh my god, saving that. That sounds perfect for parties.
I've made this a few times. It's as good as it sounds.

Here's something I'm doing right now, as a side to grilled chicken.
Actually two somethings.
Super awesome bonus!
Actually two somethings.
- Grilled tomatoes:
Shit wot u need:
Tomatoes. Several.
Olive oil. The more virgins, the better.
Sea salt.
Course ground pepper.
Shit wot u do:
Start the grill, get it hot.
Cut the tomatoes in half around the middle and scoop out the seeds into a bowl for later use (you'll see).
Brush the cut side of the tomatoes with olive oil, and lightly sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Also, put oil on a grilling mesh thing.
Put the tomatoes cut side down on the mesh, and put the whole thing on the grill when it's ready.
Close the top and grill for 4 minutes, checking them half-way through.
Take them off with a spatual, and add more oil, salt and pepper over them.
Serve.
- tomato balsamic vinegrette:
Get it:
That tomato pulp from above
Balsamic vinegar
Sweet, sweet innocent olive oil
Sea salt
Course ground pepper
Do it:
Mix it all to gether in reasonable proportions. Really this depends on how many tomatoes you used.
Super awesome bonus!
- Chicken grilling sauce!:
Ok this is a super secret recipe and I'll never tell you my secret ingredient but god damn this is good brushed on chicken boobs.
Gather:
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tsp lime juice
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp spicy curry powder
1 tsp mustard powder
1-1/2 tsp ground sage
Do:
Mix everything together well, until sugar is disolved. Brush generously on chicken breasts between flips while grilling. This should make just enough for two large breasts. Huehuehue.
