Has anyone played live yet?

Has anyone played live yet? I've played at a few online events (Kawaii Loli Attack, Lucky Lotus, HPJ 1st Anniversary) but I would send my set in so it technically wasn't live. I was wondering if any of you have gotten the chance to do a live in person performance. I really really really really want to. I got invited to play at things before but they were on the other side of the country     

I would love to, but haven't yet. I'm probably not quite ready anyway. I have a couple of mixsets on my Soundcloud, but haven't gotten the chance to practice in a while because of technical issues.

I know Goreshit and Loli Ripe have played live, but that's all I know of.

Tech issues suck, I missed out on playing the first Kawaii Loli Attack because of tech issues. Would have been a live streamed set too. I have this Akai sampler thing and some turntables which I can load lolis and stuff into. I actually have never played with the Akai thing I have no idea why. Probably because I had all these issues when setting up Ableton blah blah. I'm going to look into noise equipment later if I add more of a performance aspect to things I should be able to widen areas I can play at (hopefully).

My issue is that my USB ports all crash when I plug in my mouse, and my touchpad's left button is essentially done for. Even activities like navigating this forum are slowed down because of that, but I've gotten used to it. No way can I mix without a mouse or hardware controller though. I've been experimenting a little with assigning keyboard shortcuts to Virtual DJ...maybe I'll be able to operate it fluently without a mouse at some point.

I've been considering contacting Toshiba and seeing if they'll touch it up. I kinda don't want to not have my comp though.  

oh to go live is so amazing ..even though when it's an online event there is all that crap to do before everything is set to to =="
my next goal is to play live in a real club out of the rave!

the teen center here is doing a music festival that i might do something for soon, but i most likely won't play lolicore (although i might drop an odaxelagnia tune in the middle of it for shits and giggles)


also, does anybody have footage of loliripe live? i'd love to see it

Closest to live I've gone was doing some power electronics on Omegle. Omegle is a fun sound source, especially when people try to talk to you but you don't hear them until you play back the recording.

I still haven't played live with lolicore sweet tunes, but because last week I did my first chiptune dj set mixed with live performaces (and one of those tracks were at first intended to be lolicore song but ended up beign an amazing 8bit track), well... here I can show a couple of pics:

I've played live a bit, but never lolicore.

playing next week, I'll try to record it with something.

not with my lolicore project i haven't. with noisecore, noise and black metal bands i'm part of, i have.

i began playing live in december 2009. ive gotten to play with some pretty big names in breakcore and hardcore techno since (delta 9, mark n ::one half of nasenbluten::, end.user, a lot of others). all my shows have been in the Chicago area except for one show Sir.Vixx and i played out in Ann Arbor Michigan. in my early days i used my laptop, some cassette players, psp, circuit bent instruments, toy drum machines, a 12 channel behringer mixer and my x-session midi controller. now i only use my laptop, x-session, and lexicon lambda interface with a couple vsts and fx. i made the change to a simpler set up because i began playing less noise shows and more jungle, breakcore, and hardcore shows. i use ableton live 8.0 to run the set. i pretty much always just play my own material except for the couple times ive done radio shows in Chicago and played mixes of various artists. its always pretty fun playing live. there have been very few shows where things fell apart. those shit shows werent really shows but playing open mics with shitty people running the event. getting turned down or shut off sucks ballz.
